interesting

well, i finally made a blog. seems pretty fitting for me since i constantly journal anyway. so i guess why not make it readable. it is most definitely 1:05 in the morning and i have to be up for class at 7:45. ehh I'll live : ) life has been quite a journey in these past few months. nothing is the same both physically, emotionally, spiritually or relationally. i suppose it's a good thing that my life is not stagnent and god is always changing things up, renovating my heart but all the same its tough. my nana died unexpectedly a month ago (wow it really has been a month already...yuck) so that has been a roller coaster of emotions. right when i think i'm done crying about it a new wave hits me harder than before. my relationship with my Abba is phenominal. He is constantly prodding me, trying to get me to release my grip on life. its working, slowly, but working still. college is... interesting. im not gunna say i love it because its kinda a pain. my teachers are ridiculous, my fellow classmates are obsurd and everyone smokes! it really sucks when you get stuck behind somebody smoking on the way to class. god is slowly placing decent people in my days who dont thrive off of drinking and sex so that is good. besides the actual education part, college is rad. being around friends is an entirely different learning experience! i love seeing the different ways everyone acts around each other. amazingly i am rooming with my best friend jenny; my other best friend jake is in the building across from mine and our windows are directly across so we can yell at each other if we want; and 4 amazing other friends from riverside are here with me too. within two weeks god directed us to a college mid-week service called the Nav's, a smallgroup on thursdays and a homechurch with a college service and a big church service (yes its still big church) at Bethany. He is a GREAT GOD!!!! so many things to be thankful for. well my eyes are slowly sinking back into my head so it's time for bed : ) adios
