promises:

bank of america's slogan for college/student banking is:
"Put money in, relax."

people run smoothly when they know their bank accounts are full.
their minds are at ease when the idea of poverty is far away.
people are calm and collected with a secure and safe future.

matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

why do we as humans, not as americans, not as christians, but as humans ignore this?
we hoard.
we store.
we wait for 'what-if' days.
we worry.

what do we have to do to stop our mentality of 'better safe than sorry."
what could we possibly do differently to change that?
what is so wrong with being sorry?
i don't mind being sorry.
when i'm sorry;
truely and honestly sorry,
i've learned something.
there is no way that i could ever not be sorry for something.
in one day i sin an innumerable amount of times.
how has modern christianity become a religion based on morals and safety?
i'm pretty sure, erase the sarcasm,
I'm Positive,
that god did not send his son to show us how to be good people.
he sent his son to a promised death because he wanted us to live radically.
so how did radical living change to moralistic perfection?
that's the journey i'm on.
yay jesus : )
