oldies

is it just me or do old people just make you smile. they are so unique its insane. for lunch today we went to this place called Benji's. its a jewish deli and the people that go there, go there everyday. well at least i see them there everytime i'm there. i'm pretty sure they've had the same waitresses for 30+ years. they are the sweetest kind of waitresses too. hair in the same do as it was in the 70s. makeup that doesn't really work on them or anyone else. you know? that swag that lifetime waitresses carry? well, i love it and they are so cute. the whole time i'm in that restaurant i'm smiling. today a little man and his wife came and sat near us and he had those enormous old people sunglasses on with his reading glasses 'hidden' underneath. so cute. anyways, i was just sitting there staring at everyone (i'm pretty sure my worst habit is that i stare. anyone, anything. i just sit there and analyze it.) and started thinking that i do not mind getting old. its a great adventure. i hope i will be a cheerful oldie : )
